This is a trailer for a new documentary titled, FACING Our Messy Lives (53 minutes) about convicted sex offenders who when released from prison work with Circles of Support and Accountability - CoSA (Ottawa) for help to re-integrate into society and to not re-offend. Please contact director@cosa-ottawa.ca to arrange a screening of the full-length documentary.
This video was produced be Harry Nigh and Tee for Circles Spain. Harry briefly explains how CoSA (Circles of Support and Accountability) started in 1994 and how to keep CoSA volunteers motivated to do this work as it can often be challenging.
CoSA is focused on supporting sex offenders who are released back into the community when they are released from prison. Isolating sex offenders often lead to re-offending and CoSA works to prevent relapse and have no more victims and that no one is disposable.
This video will be subtitled in Spanish and shown at a Circles Spain Volunteer conference in March 2025.
